Whenever I get a bag from Autumn Rain Gallery I always think this one is my favorite. Even though the bags are unique, original fabric combinations, it really is all about functionality. They have the size and useful pockets that I need for everyday use. I’m a fan of this Etsy shop!

Another reversible tote bag from AutumnRainGallery. The workwomanship is excellent as always. I enjoy all the fabrics, but this one is probably my favorite. It is a lovely pattern/color. Great customer service and fast shipping. Thanks for a product that I use every day!

Ok, ok, ok, don’t judge me. This is a review for tote bags 3, 4, and 5 that I purchased from AutumnRainGallery. It may be excessive to some, but I have found that when you find a product you like, at a reasonable price, you need to stock up. I don’t use different bags for different occasions. I use this tote for work and personal. I have a dear friend and I think she could use one as well. I really appreciate the work that goes into making a quality, handmade product. I feel lucky that I stumbled across this Etsy shop! P.S. I forgot to mention the great customer service and incredibly fast shipping.

This is the cutest book bag! I carry it to the library everyday that I work. It is well made and I see this being useful for a long time because of the quality construction.

What to do after you leave the 9 to 5 world.........

I come from a family of artists. Mom was a seamstress (in my youth) and an artist in her empty nest years. Her passions were oils, pen and ink and watercolors. One of my brothers makes amazing functional wood vessels and the other actually has an art degree and now dabbles in silver jewelry.

Me? I tried pottery and photography. Both fun, but not passions. I knew I had the artsy gene just didn't know what my medium was.

Then one day I took a quilting class with my daughter. The sewing skills Mom had taught me flooded back. But I found the best part of the class was actually finding fabrics that "talked" to each other and to me. A fabricoholic was born!!

I decided to use skills I already had, learn new ones, support my "addiction" and create one-of-a-kind pieces with beautiful fabrics. A WIN, WIN, WIN!!!
